• Location data: We use your device location to show nearby yard sales and to place your sale on the map. We only access location when the app is in use.
• Sale listings: When you post a sale, we collect your address, sale description, photos, dates, and times.
• Usage data: We collect basic analytics about how the app is used, including screens visited and features used, to improve the experience.
• Device information: We may collect your device type, operating system version, and app version for diagnostic purposes.

How We Use Your Information

• To display your sale listings on the map for nearby users
• To show you yard sales near your location
• To send you notifications about sales you've saved (if enabled)
• To improve the app and fix bugs
• To prevent abuse and enforce our terms of service

Address Privacy

Your full sale address is not displayed publicly on the map or in sale lists. Only your city and state are shown to browsing users. Your full address is only revealed when a user taps into your sale detail page to plan their visit.

Advertising

Yarbee uses Google AdMob to display ads to free-tier users. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings. Premium subscribers do not see ads.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Google Firebase: For authentication, database storage, and cloud functions
• Google AdMob: For advertising (free tier users)
• Google Maps: For map display and directions
• RevenueCat: For subscription management (premium users)

Data Retention

Sale listings are automatically deleted after they expire. Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Yarbee is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
